does any one know if its legal to drive w/o doors, i cant find a law agents it but i did find that u need head lights tail lights bumpers wind shield and at least 2 rear view mirrors, so i figure i put a mirror on the driver side fender and im good to go right?

I thought there was something about the lip on the floor...but maybe not. Jeeps have that lip so things don't roll out. I have seen people with Ranger's doorless though.

i think what they mean by that is it must latch ie work the same way the normal doors would.

Before i rolled my Jeep Cherokee I ran tube doors in the summer. Before I did it my cop buddy said the key to making it legal was that there had to be something there (tubes) and they had to latch(aka function as originally equipped). I used fence gate latches, the little bar that slips under a flap. This was in Pennsylvania...

hey that would be pretty sweet if rangers had a low profile door like jeeps and for the electrical doors i dont think id wanna take them off for the possibility of shorting something but i guess find a male and female pigtails and splice it into the umbilical cord coming from the door on the inside of the cab for easy quick disconnect

and is this the kinda latch your talkin about Daedalus
