Default Installing factory fog lamps on a truck w/no fog lamps

I have a 2004 Ford ranger 4x4 xlt I just bought the new valence for the front bumper with fog lamps and a dash bezel with the fog lamp switch I noticed that the connector for the switch is in the dash harness i was wondering what else i was going to need to install these fog lamps the same as they did from the factory and if there is anyone else out there that has done this.

Thanx Tom

Tom --

There's a good chance that you have all the wiring necessary, if you've already discovered the switch harness in place.

The fog light harness plugs into a plug that you should find just hangin' out adjacent to the ABS wiring near your front spindles. Once you locate that, the factory fog harness should plug right into that. Only thing remaining is to stop by your Ford dealership (or an auto parts store) and pick up the fog lamp relay that goes into the under-hood relay/fuse box on the driver's side.

Default Harness

Thats not true on my truck I looked and there isn't a harness by the fog lamps there also aren't pins in the junction box for the relay or the fuse...any ideas? I am a tech actually but i was just curious if anyone else had ever been in this situation and if so what all do i need can i just snag a harness from another truck. and also is the smart junction box in the truck going to recognize the fog lamps?
