Thinking of building truck bed seats anyone else build there own?
hey hows it going im new to the forum this is my first post. i have owned my fozda(ford-mazda) for 5 almost 6 years my father was the owner before me so its been in the family for a very long time. and i do love it very much but im tired of my friend getting pissed b.c i can never be the DD b.c i can only hold 1 other person in my truck so i decided to build some truck bed seats out of some racing buckets from jegs and some steel square tube.. once i get all the parts and it gets a little warmer ill post some pics,
http://www.jegs.com/p//JEGS-Pro-High...63085/10002/-1
my question is has anyone done this on this forum before?? and if so can you post some pics or link me to your tread.
Thanks

You want to mount those in the bed????
Just tell your friends not to get drunk. Problem solved - for free.

well there's some other times were some more seats would be useful.
there's a company that makes a seat of seats but there like $700.00
and my seats will probably cost me around $200.00 total

Check your local laws to see if it's even legal to do something like that.

I wouldn't do it. Yeah their your friends and all but they can drive their own vehicles or pay for a taxi. I solved my interior space issue by buying a bigger truck but I don't always drive my friends around.

for the most part im doing this so when we go out on my boat they don't have to drive there cars down. 4 of my friends have gotten parking tickets there is limited parking a the boat ramp. and my friends don't really get wasted its just not worth risking a DWI ticket.and if you don't like my project don't post a response

I don't know why this guy was dogged on for wanting to do this, I think those seats look awesome. Looks like this was his last post, lol.
