Arrow Rear window molding replacement?

I have a 2001 xlt with the rear sliding window.

My exterior black trim piece is all cracked and will probably leak water.. the previous owner put some culking on it to seal some things up..

I'd just like to replace it honestly.

not my picture but to show you the exterior part

That's what the black trim is.

According to LMC:

http://www.lmctruck.com/icatalog/fr/full.aspx?Page=13

Part 3 Rear window Rubber Std Cab is only for a 83-97... yet the one below it works for a 90'-03'

Anyone know where I can get this rubber piece withouth having to purchase a WHOLE new rear window...

Thanks,
-Nigel

a ford dealer should be able to set you up...just tell them you need a backlite molding for an 01 ranger

BTW: the rear window needs to be pulled to replace that molding

That is not a separate piece of molding that can be replaced separately, that is part of the window frame and it comes out as one unit with the glass and all. Don't worry about the cracking, that part has nothing to do with the actual seal of the window.

Ok that sucks..lol I hate looking at the cracks.

I did get bytul tape and will be fixing the internal seal via the "how to seal the rear window" thread we have. Just figured I'd raplace that so it doesn't look as bad..lol

Thanks,
-Nigel
