Default fuel tank

Kind of a strange question, but since I have put a 5.0 in my regular cab ranger, just wondering if it is possible to increase the size of the fuel tank from 17 to a 19.5. The extra weight in the back would not hurt, and most of the miles this truck will log will be on the highway. Anyone else done this before??

Default Re: fuel tank

I'm not sure but it sounds like a good idea. Would it be worth it to you to do all the work for only 2.5 extra gallons? Maybe if it were 4 or more gallons. But maybe a bigger tank from another truck would fit with some modding. Or if your a good fabricator you could make your own. Someone smarter than me will chime in for ya
