Default Bumper

I'm in the process of turning my ranger into a prerunner, Now I'm moving to the bumper, I'm trying to find a decent design that will look best on my truck..heres the ideal design..
My question is... What is the benefits of the holes or no holes in the skid plate, I have seen both and so far nobody really has any good answer.. The truck will have its occasional trips to cali out to dumont and stuff but it will also be a daily driver and go mudding..soo should i have the holes or no holes?

I think this is pretty much the goal of the bumper.. what do you think?

With mudding, I would go no holes, more protection from water splashing up and frying the alternator.

Some people like to run holes for added air flow for the radiator. I personally don't like them. I always run mine solid.

Another thing you might want to think about if your planing on running lights. Is making the lights removable or using locks so they don't get stolen.

I would look into getting locks for them then. See lights get stolen all the time
