Anyone have a cb antenna mounted on a cap? Just got a cap for free and only plan on useing it for camping. My antenna is mounted on my toolbox now but that has to come out when the cap gose on, and i only have 9ft of cable so i cant run it to the bumper. Any ideas on a mounting spot?

i'd get a cheapo mirror mount and bolt that right to the side of the cap. then just swap the wire back & forth as needed. i considered doing that myself, but i wound up getting a mag mount and slapping it on top of my cab.

you could also get a cheapo mag mount from wally world, $15 or so, and use that while the cap is on.
