i am going to order a set of hellas and convert them to hid's, i already have an extra 35w h3 hid kit. Now i know there is a difference in the shape of the reflector, just wondering if one works better than the other when running HID's?

I tried to convert mine but they aren't deep enough. I can't remember if they are the "ff " or not though

2011 sport 4x4 with a little modification

Okay picked them up today, now my question is in the wireing diagram it shows the wire taping into the high beams for the driving lights, and the low beam for fog lights. But i am running single beam HID's so i only have a low beam. Now im thinking, could i possibly tap it into the 12v+ on the turn signal/running lights? Or should i just tap into the low beam on the headlights?

If you tap into either of those, make sure to put a switch between where you're tapping and the relay, or the hellas will always be on with them. It might be illegal there, but you could also tap into a 12v that'll be on with the key in, like the stereo, and put a switch before the relay. I know it's illegal here to have driving lights that light without the high beams on, but michigan doesn't have inspections, do they? A lot of the time there's police waiting at the turnoffs to fire roads here, handing out inspection notices and fines, so I keep my wiring and suspension clean and legal.

Nope no inspections in michigan, and i believe the laws are writting something like no more than 4welcome lights on at a time and it has to be under a certian amount of lumens. I mainly got them for driving back country roads to help see better at distances.

Got them on and all wired up! Leavin them stock for now, but im sure i will swap hid's into them in the near future.

to make installation easier and the usage of your lights more independent, just hook your green and red cord to the positive peg next to your extra fuse box under the hood. it allows you to turn them on at any time you want. it took me forever to figure out that I could hook both wires to the plus side of the battery, but i finally did
