Default solid rear window to sliding rear window

has anyone ever replaced there solid rear window with a sliding one

...I would love to do the exact opposite. I've heard it's not hard at all, just time consuming.

I was hauling a load of garage junk to the landfill when a board that i tossed into the bed skipped right up and through the rear window. I was able to get it fixed with insurance. It was replaced with a sliding rear window which was cheaper than the solid one. I like the air circulation that you get when the sliding window is opened. I don't regret the decision at all.

i usally love haveing my windows open for the air and i would love for it to flow a bit better (sliding window)

Too bad you're so far away, I'd love to swap my slider for a solid.

if you have insurance you can get it replaced cheaper then a solid. thats what my brother did. i hae a sliding back one and i love it

I would suggest FFParker but he's in FL, he just took his slider out.

I assume you basically just unbolt the window, remove the seal, install the new window and seal?
