Ther herculiner kit is 75-90 bucks. Depending on where u get it. It comes w/ two rollers (1 for first coat, 2 for second) and it comes w/ a gallon of the liner. It says it'll cover a 6' bed. Im sure there'll be a lil left over too

I am in Manitowoc not far from you, I used the Hurculiner kit was $60 on sale and did the bed of my f250 a few years ago. It is a good kit with the roller included so the install is very easy they even had a scuff pad in the kit. it holds up rather well, i know the $400 pro liners are thicker but they peel up at times also. the only thing I had ever heard bad about any kit is that the UV rays will dry out the liner. I have a bed cover so i don't worry. I heard you can get a clear UV coat... I also spray rino liner (i think that is the brand) at the shop a few times a year and that also turns out great. we use that mostly for the underside of cars/trucks but have used it in the bed also as that is the main use of the product.

Just print off the how-to and follow that step by step and it should turn out great. Make sure you get the cleaner it states in the how-to as well; that will make sure the liner sticks well. Rough up the surface good too!

For all of you that have gone the DIY route, no offense intended. BUT......
As the owner of a spray on Bedliner shop, all I can say is, "it's not apples to apples!"

You definitely get what you pay for. I have been doing this for 15 years, and I can't tell you how many people have come to me to repair their DIY liner. If you only a few bucks to invest in a liner, then it is what it is, but in my opinion, save up and get it professionally sprayed in. You will definitley see the difference! Our warranty is lifetime across the nation. So there shouldn't be any worries. We also offer a Dupont UV coating that will keep your bed looking new for a very long time! Now, time to take off my salesman hat; just be cautious.

I'm happy with my herculiner, I took my time sanding and prepping though (it took me something like 4-5 hours to prep with a palm sander, hand sanding, and cleaning multiple times)... I carry plastic boxes/drawers filled with detailing supplies, generators, and power washers all day long and there's not even a scratch in it. Here's some pics of mine:
After 1 pass of sanding:

After 2 thin coats (still wet):

After a total of 3 thin coats dried for 24 hours:

I ended up going and touching up a couple spots after it cured (like the run on's you can see on the back part...)

Close up of the texture:

my buddy has an s-10 and had his professionally sprayed in.... I guess it looked a little better aesthetically in my opinion. As far as durability I didn't see any difference though. I personally didn't see the point of spending $400+ when it can be done for about $100 and perform just the same.
