I have that and have been asked by people if it was a factory error since the ranger badge is on the opposite side.

Wish they made them for step sides!

the sport decals are easy to remove jus peel and use carb cleaner to get the glue off jus dont get it on the tail lights itll mess the plastic up.. and id wash it after too.. i dont think the 3.0 rangers deserve the sport stickers thatswy mine dont have em.. they do make some pimp peterbuilt emblems to go in place of the ford ovals.. ive been meanin to get a pair but you can find them on ebay for like 15 a piece.. my ovals are peeling the clear plastic on them was bubblin and crap.. im thinkin of puttin window tint over mine..

Easy stuff. Wait til summer, park it in the sun for 20 minutes. Come back with rubbing alcohol, and start peeling. The metal will be hot enough to not need a blow dryer, and the rubbing alcohol removes the sticky part of the decal. I did it to mine, and you cant tell that they were ever even there.

Thanks for all the info on removing the stickers. I have done that on every motorcycle I ever owned, but didn't know about the truck.

denatured alcohol works great for the glue n stuff. just peel it of and use the denatured alcolhol on the glue. im pretty anal about paint and it wont hurt it. takes off sap too.

Re: Badge/Decal Removal
hate to bump a thread, but better than starting a new one. anyone know the spacing of the pins on the tailgate? or maybe a reference picture? i've got another badge but want to see if it will cover the pins... thanks!

Re: Badge/Decal Removal
The spacing of the pin holes on a '09, which I think is the same as a '10, is 5 3/4 inches.

Re: Badge/Decal Removal
I also think the new badges on the tailgates are hideously ugly. Since there are locating holes for the oval, it cannot simply be removed. I found this automotive badge and sanded, primed, painted and clear coated it to match the paint color. It was just big enough to cover the holes.
In fact, I think all the badges are ugly. All decals are instantly removed when I take delivery. All other badges are also painted body color. I had my last Ranger for six years and all the badges held up without paint loss.
