unclear headlights

how do i get off the coating that is on my headlights and make them clear again? does anyone know how?

At most auto parts stores they sell a headlight restore stuff and it actually work very well

I have used this before and it works well also

I think I got it at autozone for 20 something
it will do more than one set of lights. You could probably do 20 set of lights with it

Ditto it's pretty inexpensive. If you're not sure how to do it, just go to youtube and search how to restore headlights.

Used that product on my dads 93 Ranger, works beautifully.went form yellowed to clear in no time .

I did one of those headlight restoration packages on my wifes Hyundai about three months before we traded it. Her lights had gone translucent (couldn't even see the bulbs through the haze) and yellow.

It took about half an hour with the water, abrasive and patience but they came out almost as clear as cheap replacements. I'd say it took care of 90% of the hazing, apart from the little bits that didn't get done and it only cost $10-15.

Just be careful with the optical polish, it is WAY runnier than you think it will be and mine came in little ketchup packets that blew the stuff all over the hood

She got it at Wal Mart I think, it came in a fat silver envelope.

Im still undecided whether or not to just buy the aftermarket lights, like you smakes, or just clean 'em. Mine are hopelessly hazed

mine were really bad too. but they make black and chrome sets of our lights. so you have 3 options

rite.... if i only didn't have to invest in my sound system smakes, you would find updated pics of my truck flaunting her headlights just like yours...
