Default How to remove Stepside trim piece?

Anyone know how to remove this step plate piece of trim from a stepside bed?

They're getting pretty faded, and I'd like to take them off and paint them.

Thanks!

i may be wrong but look underneath there should be clips like your rear bumper cover you squeeze with pliers and push up? just look underneath and see if there there.

U can do like greyghost said or use a flat head screw driver and kinda pop it up from the top side.

Thanks guys. That got it. It was also stuck on with some really strong sticky tape in the middle, but once I got the clip closest to the tire up the rest came up no problem.

Thanks again!
