Default Painting Windsheild Wipers

I've been painting many things with Krylon Fusion. I painted my front bumper and grille and rear bumper, and now I'm looking to paint the bottom part of my windsheild wipers. I guess their not actually the part that touches the window, but the metal part that attatches to the truck. Is there anyway to take these off?, or should I just tape them off and paint?

well theyre metal for one, so use krylon if you want it to flake off in a week. theres a pin under the base you can pull and they come right off

Yes, it is a small lever at the base that pulls away from them.
Don't use fusion, it is for plastics.
If yours are rusty, you will need to sand off the rust, apply etch primer and then paint.
I did these to mine and color matched them.

All i did with mines was just remove them..
And i got some spray paint. And just spray them with the spray paint! And the paint has last for awhile and still is lasting after all the heavy rains..

What color is your truck? On my ZX2, I used to buy the white double-blade wipers. They're available in a few different colors.

they still sell those double wipers? i remember having those on my first ranger, back in 1988. I believe the colors offered were: black, red, white, chrome (silver) they looked cool, but were pretty cheap (not very well made)

Yeah they still sell them at the auto parts stores. In my area, at least.

I had the white ones on my ZX2. They did fade, but if you paint them whatever color you want, you'd eliminate that problem.
