Tow Hooks on BL Truck?
Has anyon cut their valance to fit the tow hooks? I have the black flat ones, NOT the FX4 silver ones, and I wanna just cut out a spot in the valance to re-mount my tow hooks. Has anyone done this or known of anyone who did this? My concern is really how much stability I'm gonna lose in the valance by cutting it... any answers? Thanks!

seen several trucks that have had the valence cut for the tow hooks, ive also seen a few that have modified the tow hooks to fit without cutting the valence, i think redneckstone has them, redrocket and edgeman4.0 do for sure, redrocket modified edheman4.0 towhooks for him and had minimal cutting to the valence

Marie, please don't ruin the look of your truck by cutting the valance. Get somebody to modify yours so you can re-mount them in the factory location without modifying the valance.

jk, jk. There are a few trucks with it cut, but it looks so ugly. Just do it right a get a front hitch. I'm $7 in material and a 12pack of beer into my front hitch. (the beer was to persuade a buddy to weld it with his 220v machine, lol).

I've never seen a valance that's been modified to accommodate tow hooks that hasn't looked pretty bad.

#2 - I'm not interested in a front hitch #3 - I'm interested in modding my truck without using Shane as a crutch... I've never seen this done... either cutting the valance or modding this style hooks so pics would be great...

  Modded tow hooks for valance no cutting minus LITTLE bit where the support rods go. basically cut like normal level II valance factory
