yeah... I thought it meant that you were gonna send me a pair of tow hooks for my truck.

...oh, and I'll need one of those fabbed-up crossmembers, too!

As said earlier, that crossmember is only on torsion bar trucks. Tow hooks only mount to those. 4x4's were the only ones to get 'em standard...and some 2wd torsion bars came with 'em.

Coilsprings, time for fabbin' if you want stock towhooks. FAR better off doing a front hitch if your gonna go through with the trouble.

And Smakes, considering what I paid for those two sets of hooks, you wouldn't wanna get rid of 'em either. Had 3 or 4 sets at one point. Same with most the other L2 twinstick specific stuff I've got.

This pic is a perfect example of why you should use a rear frame mounted hitch instead of things whenever possible.

Strength....does not exist....in these tow hooks...does it!?
No, sensei!

I can't tell ya how many times I've seen those x-members bent in person or on the net from a too hard of a yank. Front hitch FTW.

yep ive seen it too but most people just hook to one hook insted of useing both of em which is stronger and dosent put much strain on the crossmember. for lots of heavy yanking tho go with a front hitch

IIRC, i do not believe 04+ 2wd EDGE came with tow hooks. Might have been some other package like EDGE plus came with them maybe.

I have an '06 Sport...I have the bar and the "horizontal" holes next to where the tow hooks would go, but I don't have holes where the tow hooks are attached in the picture in this thread.

I guess If I got some I would have to drill holes.
