Tonight, I installed a Reese illuminated Ford brake light emblem.
$40 at Autozone.
PIA to install and it still ain't right, the parking light feature isn't working but the brake light does work.
My old emblem was peeling so this sure looks much better than the old one!

Looks great!
but one question & a comment.
1. does it light up white?
If "yes" are you aware that you cannot have any rear facing white lights on your vehicle when the vehicle is in a forward motion? (with the exception of the license plate lamps)
I'm not telling you this to be a "downer" but so you don't get a ticket.

I got a "fix it" ticket once over a broken tail light lens.
The officer specifically told me no white lights to the rear are allowed.

Pissed me off since it was only broken a few days earlier and just hadn't gotten to it. I think he really just pulled me over for it as a probable cause to check me out closer.

How did you get the old one off? I would fear it would take off paint.

Fishing line and some patience..go slow...also used popcycle sticks to flucrum the emblem as I got an area pulled away.

There gonna get a doublebarreled shotgun up the snot if they rear end me! I hate distracted drivers!!! PIA!!!

Thanks again for the comps...I gotta figure out how to get the dimmer parking lite working internally....the directions really are awful!!!!
