Default Hood Swap?
Hey i had a Quick Question, will a hood from an 03 ranger fit a 99 explorer?

it will take some modding but you can make it fit.... is it a direct bolt on? NO.....

so the bolts wont fit right but it will fit like there wont be gaps on the sides or in front?

you will have to do some fab work to get it to fit.... bolt on means you can take it from one thing and easily bolt it to another.... such as taking your hood and putting it on my truck and vice versa......

the hood should bolt up to your hinges. but it's not going to line up with the tops of the fenders, and probably not along the front. don't know if the latch would line up either.

I know, i really want to get rid of it cause when i got it it was nice but my little 2.3l cant back it up cause the automatic is a little slower than the standard 4 cylinders, so i just went back to the stock hood.
