Re: Raise or Lower
It was a pretty dope ass lift kit though. Something along those lines will give you great offroading experiences with the aftermarket coil kit.

Front: 3inch Torsion Keys, w/ Longer Shocks
Rear: 2inch Add-A-Leaf, or typical 2inch Block. Also add Longer Shocks
This is a reasonably priced set-up, and will make your ride smoother and a bit more fun. If you can find an Add-A-Leaf for reasonable price and lift, your payload is increased some. No F350 kinda haulin but you'll feel much more secure when you do.

I thought 2WD's dont have torsion keys?, at least mine doesnt, the only 2WD with torsion keys is the edge models, you would have to go with a spindle lift and blocks in the back/and or a body lift as well

You know what, I'm not too sure about that. I thought the torsion keys would work on virtually any application.
The better way is to have the whole adjustable spring w/ shocks. That's if aesthetics isn't enough; which we all know to be the case.
Although keep in mind you'll never go wheelin' like a 4WD, but we can dream haha
----------
Torsion keys will cost you 100 to 200 to lift the front, another 100 to 200 on slighlty longer shocks....maybe shocks with a lil more strength since you're down there

Yeah that would work too, but i'm actually surprised and impressed with my truck, i've been able to get it unstuck without assistance every time, for a 2wd 3.slow im very impressed with its off road capabilities, i was thinking about selling mine now for a 4.0 4x4 but it does well enough i might just go with a lift as well and keep this one

Yeah I love my 2wd 3.0. I go offroading once in a while and rock my brains around. SOOOOO awesome! I really hate how people bag on the 3.0 and say "you mind as well bought a 2.3L"

Re: Raise or Lower
your truck isnt 4wd or an edge so it wont have torsion bars.
i say LOWER IT like someone said previously its no different than a car for winter driving and they can get around fine. 2wd lifted is kinda useless plus will an open diff. it wont be anything spectacular in snow. lower it because it will look sick and it will handle a little better.
just my opinion

Ha same here. Im at a crossroad with my truck on suspension. That's interesting that the 2wd won't have torsion bar/key.
Lowering it will be loads of fun. Think about the improved handling and cornering during the summer.
How far should he lower it?
----------
You know what, I just had a eurika moment.....just leave it be
The stock hieght is perfect for running around the snow, and you wont be changing the geometry of the steering & suspension systems.
Save your money for fun toys for your truck; stereo and idk whatever you want...maybe more power for your Vulcan....assuming you have on
