Tailgate Handle Cracked
The handle on my 2001 tailgate cracked on the right side. I cannot open the tailgate any longer. How hard is this to replace? Thanks.

on the inside of the tailgate there is an access panel take out the screws and you will see the 2 rods that go to the latches you then pull those and open the tailgate. then the handle is just bolted in with 2 nuts on the inside after you pop the rods off.

my 96 used to be his, he sold it to me and bought his 98 4.0 auto on 31's with a 3 inch spindle lol

ya hes got wicked arthritis from being a linemen for 20 years and couldnt deal with the 5spd anymore
