My2001 edge came with vynil flooring and I took it out and put carpet.

My '04 has no carpet. I ordered it March of '04. Cruise I had to specifically order, but IIRC, AC, power windows/locks/mirrors were standard, as well as a single disc CD, AM/FM radio.
I thought you could option up an Edge to where it had all the XLT options, but maintained the monochrome look. Could be wrong, it was 9 years ago!LOL

In 02 power options were optional. I got manual everything, cruise control (that apparently will catch fire), and a cigarette lighter but no ash tray. The last one still confuses me.

Only matters if its 2wd. If it is 2wd, look under the front corners. If you see squiggly metal rods (coil springs) going up and down, no Edge. If you see thick straight metal rods (torsion bars) going front to back then Edge.

If you've got a 4wd, it makes absolutely no difference unless you're looking to buy factory spec trim.

my 01 edge came with power door locks, mirrors, tilt, cruise, 6 disc player, 4x4, powerpoint, cig lighter (don't smoke) tow package, winter package (factory, not add on)
4.0 with 8.8 gears and Limited slip differential. and 16" wheels.
It was called the Edge "Plus" Package.
