Recently installed a Westin Safari Bar and i plan on getting 6" lights like hella 500's to mount on the tabs, I would also like to keep my hella 50's as well.. so here's the question.. has anybody used any clamps to mount lights on a bar? I have found a couple links and I am curious to see what others have done for this.

My plan is to mount the 500's on the tabs where the 50's are currently mounted and mount the 50's upside down on some kind of mount on the top part of the bar..

I dont see why those wont work. As long as you get them tight so they dont slid.

matt, when i was in my lighting "phase" I used 2 black hose clamps to attach a set of hella's on the lower crossbar of the brushguard.
so, yes, hanging the hella 50's from the top crossbar would look awesome on your truck!

apparently those rugged ridge ones are pretty cheaply made, according to the review on amazon.
Terry, I was thinking of using some kind of padded hose clamp but couldn't exactly think of how to do that.. how did you do that?
