Default Cb antenna tailgate mount

Antenna mount that bolts onto the tailgate bolts. allows antenna to be mounted with a camper shell on top

t bracket. no pic before bend sorry

place in vise and hammered it over

cut extra side off that is not needed.

still need to drill holes for mount and for tailgate bolt

Great idea! I would however recommend heating the metal until red/orange first before bending or finding someone with a metal brake.

It's very strong. I went around home depot looking for stuff I could use and trying to bend it. I could not bend this by hand and it wasn't real easy to even bend with a hammer

I wouldn't really worry about trying to heat it up since its not a real big bend and it's not super thick. I'm sure it's better to heat it up to not weaken the metal but I don't have a torch so I used what I had

Let me know if you have any questions. All I used was a dremal, hammer, vise, and a 1/2 inch drill bit
