Alright so i ordered a set of HID lights for my fogs.
My fog light plug coming of the truck is the male and the fog light is the female.
Well the new lights have the plug as a male also so i can cut female off and wire it to my original male plug?
I know how to wire it i just wanna be sure it will work
Thanks!

If its a good set they will just be plug and play if your ordered the right kit. Did you order 35 watt or 55 watt?

Nevermind. I found it. Its 9145. You can fit 9005 bulbs in there instead of the 9145 and you will be able to just plug it all in.

I personally use: http://www.ddmtuning.com/products/DD...5W-101-85.html on my quad with no problems. I never bought a set for the truck since I"m selling but I know 2 people that use this brand on their cars with no problems.

Yeah you will have to cut up the harness. I'd personally cut the HID harness and put the stock connector on it so you don't have to cut up the truck's wiring but that's up to you.

I've never seen a 9145 hid kit that is 'plug and play' meaning it'll mate right to the factory plug. Reason being is the ford plug is vastly different than other brands that use the same 9145/9005 bulb.

I used disconnects to mate the trucks harness to the hid ballast harness.
