Default Trip Option Question

TRIM OPTION*
What is the body trim option called where the lower portion of the body panels, from the bottom up to about the height of the top of the bumpers, has a plasticized coating? I've seen it before on some fords. Its really common on a lot of older model jeeps too. And i don't mean just the two toned paint. I'm talking about that flat plastic body, veneer, for lack of a better word.

Anybody Know?
Also,
does anybody know of an aftermarket kit that one can get to apply this to a Ranger?

Sorry, i mean TRIM OPTION. Typo in the title.

I've never seen the exact thing that you're talking about.

What I have seen is people rhino lining up to the point you were talking about.

I know what you are talking about, and I, too, can't think of the exact name, but it is just plastic trim. Check out this site. These are metal ones

Yeah, I seem to only be able to call to mind seeing these on pretty old model Fords. The only recent cars Ive seen them on on the street are at the youngest, mid 90s model jeeps.

probibly aftermarket. sounds like something people would use to cover up rust. alot of dodges and chevy's around here have something like that, only stainless steel.
