Thoughts about my idea for bed lights...
So i had this idea tonight at school for some work lights in my bed. Imagine folding legs on a table... they fold up and down and have that bar to hold them in place. So i was thinking of making two (one on each side) and putting them at the front of my bed, where the gap is. Then putting work lamps on them. That way i could put them up when they're needed and have them down when they're not, since i won't need them 90% of the time. Probably a dumb idea, but i kinda thought it was cool.

Just some cheap ones from Autozone... like this: http://www.autozone.com/autozone/acc...er=255135_0_0_
I don't need it to be blinding, only enough to light around the back of the truck and on the sides i little.

My exact thoughts man. Haha.

Well kinda hit a snag. My dad got wind of it and told me that he doesn't want me drilling into the bed... So, now i'm thinking of either mounting the lights inside my toolbox lid or making stands out of pvc pipe and just propping them up against the cab when i need them and just laying them down in my toolbox for storage. Freaking sucks. I was looking forward to being unique. Haha. Anyone got any thoughts? Other than a headache rack? Haha. Should i just get over it and get two flashlights with stands?

Re: Thoughts about my idea for bed lights...
get 2 small clamps and fabricate the lights onto the clamps making them however tall you want them and then clamp it to the bed where ever you need them probably the front between the cab and bed.
Man that sounds confusing but not sure how else to put it
