I know this is an old thread but I'm looking to do the same exact thing now that I mounted a plow. Did you ever find a reasonable set up?

There are several companies that do hide away strobes Star is one of the better Whelen and even Buyers products make them. If you are going to do it get the led strobes not that much more expensive but if you have to change 1 bulb on the other you could have bought the LEDs.
