Has anyone tried electronic rustproofing?
I'm looking at the bottom of our newly acquired 2010 XLT and am trying to determine what to do to avoid the rust damage that eventually claimed our sweet little 1992 Ranger. There are chassis parts that have no paint at all (drive shafts, brackets etc....) I''ll paint those with POR-15 There are no rustproofing shops in our area any more and I was considering one of those electronic devices with sacrificial anodes, but don't know if they are effective. I'm also considering spraying the bottom with Penetrol or some like product. Any thoughts?
