Default converting to SVT looks

I'm currently shopping for a used truck to replace my last car, and I was driving my buddy's ranger yesterday, and I really liked it compared to some of the other stuff I had driven. However I'm a huge fan of the looks of the F150 Lightnings. I was just wondering if anyone on here had changed up the looks of their Ranger to something close to an SVT, I'm more into the rangers mostly because of gas mileage, and I like rangers, they've had a good track record. What can you tell me?

Get a good bed cover, lightning style exhaust, lower the front. Those id say are the 3 obvious things right off without really getting into it a lot.

Depending on the color of the truck will determine what color cover you want. When I was first looking at covers I looked at yellow ones. Once I thought about it, I wanted a yellow and black exterior theme so I went with a hardened plastic black cover. Didnt want the painted ones since I actually use my truck and it would scratch easy. Mine can take a ton of pressure in the middle before it snaps and its only 40 lbs.

I need to redo my exhaust but I have a flowmaster super 44 with the exhaust that comes out to the side. When it is done again it will look just like lightnings with the 45 degree exit angle and cut to where it is even with the truck so the pipes appear oval.

The drop depends on the truck. If its got springs then you would need lowering springs. If its got a traction bar you just need to crank it down.

Those 3 things will make it look sporty but it will be no where near a SVT Lightning. The curves, valances, and hood make that truck appearance wise. Some Rangers, like my Edge, have the good looking raised hoods but other than that stock will just be flat. There arent really any body kits out there for rangers. Ive actually only seen one. I guess if you are determined then you could fab up your own from other kits and fiberglass mods to it and custom mounting brackets.

Hope my ranting helps any!

that's close, just maybe an inch higher or so... I'll have to do some asking, and see if i can find some info from the guy who hosted this picture. but I kind of like this look.

Have you looked at the STX Rangers? A Little different but still a "street" look...
Here's a picture I found on google...

The STX's look kinda cool, but I'm not really into the fat lip...
I'm not getting a whole lot from insurance, so it'll probably go to one about the age of a thunderbolt.

Dont forget some good rims also. Personally when I have to get a full new set of tires and can afford some good new rims im gonna get some of the SVT Cobra style rims in either a bullit gray or in a black chrome. No 31's for a street Thunderbolt truck!!! Gotta get a medium tire wall width.

If they actually put valences all around instead of just the fron I'd love it. Ford need to look at Toyota's Tacoma Sport and make a Ranger as badass as that!
