I need a new door and fender and suicide door. i have someone on the line with a 96 XLT that is looking to sell parts. are they the same, can i drop one out and put the next in?

How can a person with a 1996 have suicide doors when ford rangers did not have them until the 2000 model year?

...? I'm not sure how far back but rangers have had suicide doors for a while. My 1998 had the back suicide doors and I know that they were there before my truck too.

interesting... I could be wrong, (usually am) but when checking the history of the Ranger, it said suicide doors were avaiable starting with the 2000 model.
I guess you just can't trust what you read anymore.

I thought that the suicide doors came out with the frame change, that would have been 98.
