Craigslist! Some people just can't get rid of their huge stock bedrails! I've stil got mine and used them as a painting experiment! LOL. I will say though, they look good on some trucks, and don't look good on others.

BUT.....If you wish to ditch those huge things, I suggest getting Bushwacker bedrail caps and a tailgate cap. They cover up where the factory ford ones eat up the paint. They're about the only ones wide enough that I found that would do that. Plus, Bushwacker is a local company to me and I like to support local businesses(Bushwacker, Warn, etc).

I got 'em from a local off road shop, but you can order them up from a bunch of different online retailers. The bed rail ones run about $80 and the tail gate runs about $30. Here's some links:

(looks like prices went up. I bought 'em 3 years ago. lol)

STL...is that Ben's truck in the 2nd pic? I was gonna say...holy cow that frame is fuuuuuuuuuuubared.

Yeah...they cover the stake pockets. The stock factory ford big caps. Ford has optional accesories for ones similar to mine and the person who posted above about his not covering the stake pockets.

Sorry. They cover up where those stock big rails rub the paint on the bedside.

I'm trying to find pics to show what I'm talking about.

Wow thanks guys...I'll have to do some serious searching online tomorrow when I should be working

I got the chopped bed rails off tonight - off course it was a pain in the ass because they're clipped on with a 'C' bracket and bolt assembly and of course the bolt was seized up in the bracket and I had to snap the bolt to get them off. The truck looks better without the FUBAR'd rails but now the search for replacements is on

Myke, yeah I can't find any pics that actually show the ate up paint. I'm going to paint them soon(tailgate cap is already off the truck) so I'll be sure to take pics. lol.

I've seen some trucks with heavy damage to the paint because of those stock rails(my truck for example). Yet I've seen other trucks without any damage from them.
