Default Do bar pins on stock XLT shocks pop out?
the bar pin is the piece on the bottom of the shock that connects to the A arm. does it pop out? im looking for new shocks and having a hard time because of my lift. The backs are easy but can anyone answer my original question? or maybe propose a new set of shocks for my lift? I have 2.5-3" coil spacers. Thank you in advance

how bout buying a pair of those brackets the jeep guys use? The basically bolt in like the bottom of the shock but then they except an eyelet shock. This also allows for more/easier flex as the shock will "roll"

idk if the jeep ones are the right size. should be the same though right? I think all trucks are the same

Yeah I think there the same. I had an XJ and used some shocks off an exploder and eventually used a pair of air shocks for a camero.
