Default HID newb

ok, straight forward, im looking to upgrade to HID head lights and fog lights. what do i need to accomplish this? specific kits or bulbs or anything? any help would be awesome, thanks

I got mine off ebay. its a VVME HID kit 5k 55watt.
tons to choose from on there. just depends on what color you want

Same thing, just a different bulb size of 9145 or H10.

sweet deal, thanks. another quick question, if i got HIDs for my stock head lights, then later switched to projectors, would the bulb still work with the projectors?

Depends what kind of projectors you got. In most cases no. Most projectors use either D2S or a H1 bulb

Unless it is a projector headlamp that fits your stock bulbs,
You will have to go with the new size bulb in HID

Same ones I have on my truck. They take a H1 bulb. The hi beam clip has to be slightly modified to fit the HID bulb in. Just need to take a pair of shears and snip a little corner off the clip

are they a good choice? any issues other then that clip mod?

what do i need to order if i want to get a slim ballast HID kit for my 99 ford ranger with stock headlight assemblies from ddmtuning.com? any help would be great.
