Default Need help on choosing which one to get.

I'm trying to decide between getting a tri-fold tonneau bed cover or just a tool box. I was thinking if I got the tri-fold I would basically have the whole bed as a storage box. Let me know your opinions on it.

Depends what your planning on storing, you can lock tool boxes, and you can't lock your bed( unless you have a locking tailgate).

I understand you can lock the toolbox but aren't toolboxes stolen easily?

Not if they're bolted through the bed like mine are with stainless steel 3/4" bolts

i had a bi fold Ford tonneau that the part by the cab locked every time it was closed and the tail gate end could lock the tail gate if i flipped a little lever thingy ma bob. lol.

but i got rid of that cuz i wanted to use my box.

id say a tool box but spend a little more and get a good one. i cheaped out and i hate my box

they can only be stolen if the box is open because that is the only way to get to the bolt UNLESS they put alot of effort into cutting the bolt with the tiny space between the bedrail and the toolbox

i say toolbox...in fact there is a toolbox thread i started a week ago

i say tonneau, like the looks of them. i also like toolboxes, but to me a toolbox attracts attention for people to try and break into it.

just my 2 cents
