Default Installing Mesh grille

Hey

Ive looked at my truck and realized that grille is pretty open and would look better with some mesh grille inserts in there.

So my question is how do i put it in there? Have any of you custom installed grille inserts?

They don't make kits for the Mazda. I cut out my center supports and logo and painted the inner part black and put mesh in the whole grill.

How did you install the mesh? Clips, zipties, screw, etc?

I cut the mesh to fill the entire grill area in the back after i had removed the grill. I then cut the corners and bent the mesh around the hole i had created when i cut out all the center supports and logo. I kept bending and trimming extra mesh till i had made a perfect fit. I was then able to slid the mesh on and off while keeping its shape. Then i applied silicone all around the back then slid the mesh back over and added more silicone. Let it dry for a few hrs then put grill back on my truck.

the same process could be done just cut small mesh pieces to fill the areas. THen bend and trim each one till you make a perfect fit. Apply silicon and let dry.
