my fuse box has quite a few empty spaces (kick panel fuse box) can i use that fuse box??

yeah, but then the lights can only come on when the key is in the ignition in the "on" position

snuck it in while i was writing my reply. they're wired differently so they have constant power. if you have a multimeter you can check the open spots to find ones that are constantly hot or key'd on

hmm i assume that the open ones are all keyed on since a constant power spot (for lack of a better word) without a fuse would drain the power...?
