roll bar idea.....?
After looking around forever I now realize there is no hope for what I'm looking for, if any of you have some ideas feel free to throw them my way....I want to find a rollbar for the ranger that I can fab up a spare tire mount to towards the bottom and have radiator mounts up so so I can mount ranger rad on the roll bar as well, w/ electric fan....I'm looking for the trophy truck look but have everything still be reliable, I think I could save a little on gas not having to turn the fan up front..... It's just an idea.....

Re: roll bar idea.....?
as far as saving gas, your better off just putting an electric fan in front, if you put a roll bar back there your only adding weight. and having your rad out back means any ass hat walking by can throw a rock at it or whatever...

Re: roll bar idea.....?
Yeah that's true, there's always that guy right.... But I've been wanting the spare tire mount in the bed and if I'm gonna have to build one its gonna be out of heavy gauge alum so it won't add to much weight

Re: roll bar idea.....?
what about the roll bar plus all the extra coolant from plumbing it half way down the truck? all in all with a bar, tire mount, and extra coolant you looking at a few hudo pounts, plus changing the aerodynamics which could be for the worse, it would look sick, but idk if it would help...

Re: roll bar idea.....?
I'm not to worries about the aerodynamics, I'm more less just doin for bad ass and usefulness
----------
The ranger already looks bad ass but I'm picturing emergency shovel mount, fire ext. Mount, first aid kit mount, I want the unique edge

Re: roll bar idea.....?
Lol really? With 2 computer CPU fans and a 4" tire? lol I like it
I went rear-radiator on my Jeep Cherokee (no roof/no rear hatch/cut LOTS of sheetmetal already) and even with EVERYTHING locked down, still have problems with theft/vandalism.
I finally gave up and just ONLY care the bent hi-lift jack, use a factory junkyhard radiator from a F350 so replacements are cheeeeap, and stopped caring.
And I lock EVERYTHING down. Just sayin, no matter how secure, if someone wants to fuck with your shit they WILL fuck with it

Re: roll bar idea.....?
I'm still working out details on this guys, I'm thinking its gonna be a winter time project, my friends dad runs a muffler shop and builds sand rails for hobby. So I know he's got a pipe bender....I'm gonna use 3" tubing behind the cab and probably 2 1/2" down to the rear of the bed, then a dual core aluminum radiator, then get another Dick cepek and mount it below the rad, ill have all the extras that go too shovels, first aid kits f.e. jack, gonna pipe the rad in with steel braided line.......the sides I'm debating on closing in with sheet alum
