I have the harness at the rear bumper for trailer lights, but the other day I went to take my boat out and try the lights for the first time since buying the ranger and I found they do not work lol.


Did they come without a fuse possibly/no fuse plugged in?

Or maybe some sort of obvious answer I have yet to think of?

Have you checked the fuse yet?

#7 in fuse panel by drivers door.
#30 in dist box under hood
#46B in dist box under hood

Yea checked all the fuses remotely close to lights in both boxes, the wires look fine from the front to the rear and nothing is corroded/unplugged, kinda confused....

Check the prongs on the connectors themselves, wire brush them if they seem corroded or have a white/blue tint coloring on them. It happened to me and the wire brush worked.

also check the wiring on the trailer that you are hooking up lol

Not that this will help the current problem but get some dielectric grease for the plug and a cover. That will help with the corrosion on the prongs.
