Default Searched - HID question

Tried searching, sorry.

I want to install a 3000K 35W HID for my low beam, but want to keep a stock high beam. Is this possible with our dual beam setup?

no. in our trucks, the halogen is a dual filament meaning the high and low beam are in the same bulb.

I get that. So what happens if I get the 9007 hi/low? I'll have hids for my high and low beam? If I just get the 9007 I won't have high beams any longer?

You can get a 9007 bulb thats hid and regular, i decided to go with the dual hid. And its ur choice if you want ur hid on low or high beam if you go with the regular one. you just got to switch the wires,I got mine on ebay, had it on for a while now, work great

The HID kits with HID lows and halogen highs are for states that require you to have a halogen light to pass inspection. And are impossible to aim and get useable light out of
