BOOM! installed them, played around with the wiring for a few hours before i re-read the instructions and found the OTHER way to wire the high beams to actually make it work.
High beam activated
Low Beam

From the Driver's seat

They could be even brighter if you get the Phillips OEM bulbs.
Nice project though. Ever since Ive done mine I want to do it again and go more in depth with the headlights. Im thinking about doing TL projectors or something similar.

definitely. in the pics, they're aimed a bit low. i spent a bit of time aiming them higher and it's a lot better now.

yeah to be 100% honest i feel that the lights with just a plug and play kit were brighter, albeit a lot less focused. next thing may be some better 35 watt bulbs, or sack up and get 55 watt bulbs/ballasts.
i do feel the same about going more in depth also. comparing my set up to someone like jp7's makes mine look like a joke lol. if i had more time than weekends when i'm off work, more patience, and more space to work i would definitely like to do a retrofit with some projectors that aren't as simple to install as these are.

Kool man. That must've been extremely satisfying to complete this project. You must be stoked. What ever happened to our "ricer" that you and I were talking about? I bet someone ran him off, L.O.L.

Re: I didn't just bite the projector bullet, I caught it with my TEETH
i haven't seen him, but then again i'm not specifically looking for him.
bit of an update on these: looking to get better bulbs because the morimotos aren't as bright as i had hoped. for anyone else looking to do this, spent the $45 to upgrade to the phillips bulbs when you place your order instead of the $95 they want normally.

So get the Phillips ones and not the Morimoto Bulbs? And what ballast are you using?

Wait until the end of this month. I was promised that TRS will be having their new ballasts which will be a whole lot better than there original ones. Also, will make the bulbs brighter! So I'm waiting for that and when I get it, I'll see for myself!

Exactly! I might have to get a fog light harness from him because my fog lights won't work (stopped working) and I can't find the problem and it keeps blowing the fuse . So I might just bypass it! But I want stock! Maybe a new harness?
