Default Hood cover

I have ordered an hood cover to my Ranger and i just wanīt to know,cause you uset it a lot in the us and canada,in portugal mine is going to be one of few, if itīs realy usefull and if itīs to avoid mosquitos ,stones or road salt

I think he is refering to a bug deflector.

The deflectors are good if you notice that you're getting allot of chip damage. And they can also deflect strikes to your windshield.
They don't hold moisture against the paint like a bra type protector.

This will just protect against chip damage in the area that it covers. Nothing else IMO.

Well then good. It will protect the area it covers from chip damage. That's about it.

I would have guessed bra. Only seen 1 on a Ranger in my entire life.

I belong into a ranger forum here in portugal and nobody has hood bras here in portugal,only in cars who came from the US or Canada.
Everybody itīs waiting for mine and for the pics of it.
