Default bunch of questions

hey guys looking to do some mods to the ranger in the coming year or two, i want to do suspension lift kit, mudding tires and maybe exhaust if i get my leak fixed. What i want to know is what are in everybodys head what are the best things to buy when it comes to these upgrades. Basically i want a mudding ranger.

In your thoughts what is the best:

1. lift kit (suspenion)

2. mudding tires

Thanks guys

The lift all depends on how your gonna treat it. If your gonna do the ocassional off roaring then I wouldn't go super expensive. I have been looking at the rough country kits myself. And I have always like the mickey MTZ's. I always took my moms H3 off roading( she got the adventure package with the lift and the 35 inc MTZ's) and I never had a problem.

A lot of variables here.... are you going to install the lift or have a shop do it? If you have a shop do it you might be limited to the lift brand they use. Also I know suspension lifts are limited based on the year and model of your truck so probably gonna need to just hit up google and do some research since you didn't give us any of that info.

Tires are all personal preference. Everyone has a different love so you need to figure out what's important to you. If you're never on the street you'll want one that's really knobby. If you're going to drive it on the street as well as mud you'll want one that's more grooves than an A/T but less knobby. For me I would want to deal with a local shop that's gonna support their work, so that may limit your brand options... as well as your budget may make a decision for you.

I recommend you do a little more research then come back with some options. Once you figure out the look you want and narrow it down to 2-3 choices people will be able to give you more specific reviews rather than just telling you what tire they personally like.

I hope that helps.

suspension lift --> superlift is your best bet, but do your homework on it to make sure your willing to invest

mudding tires --> i like nitto, but thats just a personal opinion

no one can give a definitive answer on this. my choice for best lift kit is different than other people's, because the way I use my truck off road is different than theirs.

same with tires, i like the bfg all terrain, many people hate them with a passion.

SEARCH, GOOGLE, READ! make your own decisions on your own truck.
