yeah, 6k is great. 4-5k is as close to pure white as you can get, and will give you the most visible, usable light.

I run 55W. I have run 35W, and 55W, and I prefer the 55W. Also, keep in mind, anything over 4300K will have diminished light output.

clearly u dont know much 5000 is pure white. if u want a more yellow hue u can got down.

anyone know a good site for these? Just wondering, considering my lights are bout as bright as a lamp.

short ram intake, dynomax exhaust, homade bull guard here soon, 2" body lift 4" suspension lift, 33 bfg all terains.
selling the truck this summer and buying a new ranger hopefully.

ddmtuneing.com where i got mine and mine have been through water, mud, sand, snow, salt, dirt, and they are always on

No offense Demon, you've struck me as a good guy in a lot of threads, but I spent a long fucking time selling HIDs. I know them inside and out. I have a tendency to make fucking sure my info is right before I post. It's called not wasting people's time.
That being said, here's a cutesy little kelvin scale for you to admire. See the pure white spot? That's inbetween 4000K and 4500K? IIRC, 5000K comes after 4000 and 4500, not after 4000 but before 4500.
If you don't like my information, do a google search.
Hell, ask Baron Kelvin himself if you can wake him from the dead.

I've worked with the kelvin scale back in highschool and college but i forgot most of that. What does the "K" stand for?
