Yeah I just got one from LMC about a month ago. The catalogue said it's a 'no-drill' installation. When I got the bug deflector, it came with screws and instructions about drilling. ( -.-)'

Any bug delfectors that have a 3M tape installation? AVS maybe?

^^^^if you go that route buy better body panel clips for it. it will hold tighter than the mounting ones it comes factory with.

Why, Ive had mine three years with no problems whatsoever

plus he can probably purchase it online, put in a discount code and get it cheaper

----------

buy this:

http://shop.advanceautoparts.com/web...1322447401____

and put in one of these codes in at checkout:

http://www.retailmenot.com/view/advanceautoparts.com

then choose to pick it up at local store.

Id probably use the BIG15 code

I had a 92 Ranger and during the first year had to puchase a bug deflector to hide the dent the rock put in my truck because I didn't have one. It will also prevent the small chips in your paint on the leading edge. Having lived in southeast Missouri for several years where the bugs are terrible I can tell you from experience, they do help. I just installed one on my 2011 Ranger last week. Hope this helps although I realize this is an old post.

Have used them since they came out, and like them very much. They do save alot fo chips in the hood paint, and cut the windshiled bugs in half easily. Just don't use one of them old flat retarded looking ones.

I actually purchased one about 2 months ago and can tell a huge difference with rocks and bugs. I love the look of them and would recommend to anyone who doesn't have one.
