This morning I decided to remove the Sport decals from the side of the bed on my 2011 Ranger. Talk about easy!! I walked out the front door at 6:45AM and was back inside by 6:50. No hot air dryer was even needed. I peeled a little off with my thumbnail and they peeled right off. I did not even have to use GOO B GONE. Man, that was easier than I thought it would be.

I think my truck looks much cleaner with them gone and now my orange Auburn University license plate on the front does not clash with those big red Sport decals.

Next step is to put on a chrome XLT grille and my Sport/XLT hybrid will be finished. (I love the XLT's chrome grille, but I also love the fender flares and higher ride height of the Sport model...so I am going to combine the two)

I hear you on the clash. My Edge decal on my truck is orange with a hint of red to offset the orange, and it clashes pretty bad with my black/red IH plate and the gray/red pinstripe on the side of my truck. I prefer the blue Edge decals, so one day i'm gonna pull the Edge decals and the red pinstripe in favor of blue. The blue will clash a little with the black/red IH plate, but not as bad as the orange is. It'll look more like i'm going for the red/white/blue theme which is an acceptable clash.

I have an IH tag too. I took it off to put the AU tag on. The IH tag is black with a white IH logo (man on tractor) with the word FARMALL in red. It looks real good on the front of a ranger. I switch front license plates all of the time.

I love Farmall, Oliver, and Ford tractors.

If my ranger was any other color than white, I would have left the Sport decals on the bed, but in white, I think it looks better with them off.

funny... a lot of people take off the edge, or sport stickers, yet you NEVER hear of someone saying "I removed my FX4 stickers because they clashed with my truck"

I don't think people remove them (the edge & sport) stickers because they clash, I believe they remove them because "edge" and "sport" just doesn't sound as "cool" as
"FX4"
