Indeed. Post it even if the person isn't a member here so if someone else googles the persons information (username, number, email, etc.) they find the review.

Re: Need some advise on How-To remove Orange Peel
so i figured out which member did the work and he IS a member that does this often (working on trucks) so no excuse for that paint job ESPECIALLY since he painted his own truck and shouldve treated it w the same respect
now on the other hand he did do a ton of work on the truck but again...in the end its a bad paint job

So the question is if you do have this info (and its the right member, hate to accuse the wrong guy) should you, or should you not post his basic info on here?

400 miles is worth your paint job. I'd go back and complain and if they didn't do anything I'd raise he'll and take him to court. We spray canned my brothers mustang and it looks better then that

Depending on how much clear is on it that should be able to be fixed but it will not be easy. Will need to be wetsanded and polished. I know the situation between you and the member that painted it so I doubt he will fix it for you even though he should. I know if I had payed that much for that paintjob I would be very unhappy with the results you've pictured.

Re: Need some advise on How-To remove Orange Peel
I think some of the remarks from the OP based on the person who painted this should be deleted. This is between 2 members here, both have a story to tell about this project and to have a one sided bash fest on the other member here is unfair. These threads were deleted and also adjusted by Mods on R/F and should be done here as well. I believe the primary question by the OP should be how to fix orange peel, other than that, the opinions and the bashing of the other FRF member involved shouldnt be posted.

btw ... this was a two part painting process Base Coat then Clear Coat.
The painter told me that there was 4 coats of paint and 4 coats of clear put on, but the truck tells a different story.

There are two sides to the story, and the feud does not need to be spilled out over here from the other forum. I think its fine asking how to get rid of the problem but as far as opinions on the painter who is a member here and mods on another site need not be mentioned to solve the problem at hand

what? Its not personal at all. I dont know either one personally.
Honestly, It just pissed me off to see brian screwed and everyone take the painters side (on the 'other site'). At the end of the day, the painter and brain made a deal. Weither or not it was a cheap price shouldnt matter. I guess its just me but If I had done the work, I would want to be proud of the work I had done. There would be no way I could let a car leave looking like that.

Doesnt matter either way, comments as subtle as they may be can get this started all over again and I'd rather not see it...AGAIN. I dont mind helping the op out with the problem, but as you can see, comments by the other member that posted on this thread are all one sided, which is not fair for the other party involved. Also comments about mods from other sites arent a good thing either. Some mods from other sites are members here as well
