I have projectors on my 06 and the harness takes the OE 9007 pigtail and splits it into 2 pigtails for the new assembly. So you will not be able to run highs and lows at the same time.

It uses a normal halogen reflector for the high beam? What the point of even getting those if you still have 50% normal reflector headlights?

Im only running a single beam HID setup anyway. So as long as the projector part of the housing works good then im fine with that. And if not then I will use the halogen housing. Anything will work better than my nasty yellow stock housings

Do not get! These things are a waste of money and you will get the same results as your regular headlights.

If you want projectors, I suggest going onto theretrofitsource.com. There you can find all sorts of projectors and accessories to do a proper retrofit onto your headlights. Yes the price is pricey, but contact customer service and they will help you out in every way and possibly give you a discount.

I have projectors in my headlights and I LOVE THEM! A whole lot better and more output than the regular output on the stock heads. If you don't have the money to spend on a complete retrofit, than do the headlight mod and paint them black and put in some HIDs for now. Or save up and do the retrofit! You won't regret either one.

Your best bet is to get on ebay and buy the halo projector headlights... 1. They look good and there nice 2. They cost 150 and 3. There out standing in looks cant go wrong....

I have to disagree here. First off the price; 150 dollars for fake projectors?! I can get real projectors off TRS for 150. Second the looks. Yeah they look cool and all but do they stand up to the output? No. The output is the worse output I have ever seen! With the halos on, the output looks like a smiley face rather than a cutoff line (what your supposed to have with projectors). You might as well keep your 150 and do the headlight mod and place in some HIDs in the headlights. Better yet, keep your halogens because those will out perform the ebay projectors.

Just my two cents on this subject. If you (the thread owner) want to get these, I would highly suggest not too but it's your ride, do what you will. I have the retrofit projectors and love them!

Ebay cutoff:

You don't need all three pieces. For a retro fit, you buy quality projectors from theretrofitsource.com and install them into your headlights. They are not pre installed like the ebay ones. You install them yourself and get 10 times the output than those ebay ones. I got a deal for some projectors and shrouds and halos all for 160 shipped and I'll be installing them in my truck when I get them (others were damaged from car accident).

thread resurrection time.....are the ebay projectors just a low output because of the bulbs or because they're just a lower quality projector.

I'd like to do something to get brighter outputs....trying to find the "headlight mod" now. Maybe i should just put brighter bulbs in my lights.

Only way to get a brighter output while not killing other drivers eyes is to do a retrofit with projectors. The eBay projectors are a low quality product and does not outperform anything. I rather have stock halogen bulbs then those projectors. I have never had them but I have heard so much negative feedback from others who do have them. The "headlight mod" on this site has nothing to do with "better output" or anything; it is just painting your headlights black. If I were you, I would save your money and invest in some retro fit projectors. I myself actually retrofit projectors in headlights for people that have never done it before. You can PM me and I can help you with that or if you have other questions or concerns, PM me again and I'll help you out.
