I agree with this guy. Who cares what other people think? If you like it and think it will look cool, put it on there and rock the shit out of it. The only opinion that matters is yours.

After you do it, I'll agree with everybody else, but at the end of the day, does what all of us think really sway your opinions?

It's right next to the restaurants we ate dinner at the other night. Just walking off some calories. Besides, my wife and I have bought three new Toyotas at this dealership in the past 10 years.

I'm gonna skip the "S" emblem.

If I had room on my back windows, I'd get this. Might get it anyway.

I love my new Ranger, but I will say this: Not one of the three new Toyotas we have bought in the last 10 years has ever spent a single day in the shop other than for routine oil changes and the like. The RAV4 did have a wheel weight that came off.

OTOH, our new 2008 Honda Element was a total piece of shit! We traded it in at less than 3,000 miles on a new RAV4 just to get rid of it.

Just a few examples:

1. Both passenger side doors had to be taken off and repainted.
2. All the weatherstripping had to be replaced.
3. The radio died and had to be replaced.
4. Brake problems---Honda district rep from Atlanta told me the
problem was in my head.....a year after we traded it in,
Honda had a major recall on the same damn brake problem.
5. The windows would go up and down on their own.

My wife has a 1993 Honda Del Sol with 90K miles on it and it is built
WAY BETTER than that 2008 Element was. I will NEVER buy a new Honda again!!!!!!

Element = fail

I think we can all agree that if you like it, do it. But since you asked our opinion, we all happen to think no.

With my high IQ, I doubt it. I'm just kidding, OscarMike, it WOULD look stupid!

Hell, now I am thinking about removing the red Sport stickers that are on the side of the bed and putting on a chrome grille. That way it would look like a cross between a Sport and an XLT. The main thing I like about the XLT is the chrome grille and the main things I like about the Sport are the fender flares and the ride height.

Also, the "Sport" emblem on the 2011 Edge Sport looks hot.

1. Remove body colored grille and install chrome grill.
2. Remove "Sport" stickers from the side of the bed.
3. Install "Sport" emblem from 2011 Edge Sport on right side of tailgate.

What do you guys think? I'm a cheap bastard just trying to make my Ranger look different then the other 100 rangers I see driving around every day.

OMFG, that Supra is awesome! It is the perfect example of how to make a great looking automobile look better. So many people try to do this and they just end up f**king up a fine vehicle. I have worked at several new car dealerships and people get real pissed-off when you tell them that the "improvements" they spent thousands of dollars on just shot their resale value to hell. For example, very few serious buyers walking the lot on a Saturday afternoon want "Lambo" doors on their Mustang.

As long as you don't get one that says AWD.
