Default Replace lens cover advice-URGENT

The lens cover fell off the head light on my truck in a parking lot. What is the best way to reattach the lens cover? It needs to be done promptly before anything hits the bulb and I end up replacing the entire unit.

I used clear bathroom silicone in the groove the lens squished back on and then evened out the silicone then I used ratchet straps to hold it over night.

This is how I did mine

Wish I knew how the lens fell off. Noticed one night that one light looked burned out. It wasn't. The lens off the other light was GONE. Backtracked the day's events and found it about 4 feet in front of my parking spot at work. Don't know how. Maybe vandalism? Maybe pressure built up and it popped out? Just know it's good not to have to buy a new one. The silicone worked. Thanks.

glad you got it fixed because you CANNOT buy a new lens, only the entire headlight assembly, housing, and lens.

Glad that worked out for you. Now you halfway know what to do when you do the Headlight Mod.

I wish you could just buy a lens. It would make it easy to replace a oxidized lens on lights you have modded to your liking
