Also if you have time, take the door panel off, it could be just the bar from the outer handle that came off. I really dont believe its the lock cylinder

I use LockEaze 2 to 6 times a year on my automotive locks, padlocks and other exposed mechanisms.
LockEaze has graphite in it - it is fantastic stuff!
Use a tiny screwdriver to push the little cover tab open on the door lock.
Insert the tube about 1/8th inch and soak the tumbler.

Okay so I tried the WD40 today and no luck. Now that I look at my truck I think I might have power locks too (this truck is pretty new to me)...

and I don't know if this matters but my key does slide all the way in it just can't turn either way

You might have power locks? Dont you have switches on the interior door panel? It almost sounds like something is jamming the lock mechanism. Did you take the panel off and look at it?

I think your key has to be bent or worn out if BOTH doorlocks started doing this at the same time.
I looked for a diagram but all I found were exploded views that looked confusing. I just wanted a picture of that rod Clinton was talking about. That sounded just awful...
Hey try rolling the windows all the way up, locking the door from the inside, and then slamming the door shut. THEN see if you can unlock it.

I don't have buttons on the inside. I'll go take the panel off real quick. Want me to take a picture with my cell phone? And yea it's weird because both of my doors are like this
